Dr. Maija Kūle

Philosopher, Dr. habil. phil., professor, director of the Institute of Philosophy and sociology, University of Latvia, leading researcher, full member of the Latvian Academy of sciences and European Academy of sciences and arts, member of two Committees of the International Federation of Philosophical societies (FISP), head of the Doctoral program in philosophy, head of the Professor’s committee in philosophy, scientific interest – phenomenological investigations, author of 6 monographs, about 150 scientific papers, 12 papers at “Analecta Husserliana”, delivered lectures on phenomenology and European forms of life in India, Taiwan, China, Vietnam, Turkey.

The highest Latvia’s state award Order of Three Stars, rank III commander, Felix prize of the European Academy of sciences and Arts, Celm’s prize of the Latvian Academy of sciences. Expert of science ethics H2020, COST expert.
